New classes...new teachers...new learning...new sharing opportunities !!

Today  morning we had a great class with Dr. Supriya Baily.
We  did a test in order to have a better understanding of what kind of persons we are. We recognized aspects of our personality in order to be conscious of our preferences as teachers and how that can influence our teaching practice as well as the way we approach to our students in the classroom. We ended up doing some team work representations (showed in photos below).
Finally, we received an empty "Journal", in which we are meant to write at least one reflection everyday since now and until the last day of the program; the idea is to become aware of the way we act and reflect upon the things we'll be going through the program.
And in the afternoon, we had the "Teaching with technology" class with Dr. Norton and Dr. Hathaway. There, we created our GMU ID, in order to have access to the GMU wifi network, and a blog in which we'll post comments and reflections upon our staying as students at GMU.

After classes we got to know George Mason Statue

On our way to the bus stop we saw many people gathered in the central square of the Campus. It was a students protest against Trump's initiatives concerning immigrants entrance to the United States.
Some photos below...

And to finish another awesome day... All the TEA fellows  shared a delicious Uruguayan stew (guiso). Due to the lack of big pans in the Hotel I had to cook in 4 small ones, but everything went alright, likewise.
Is there a better way to end up a day? I love to see our faces in pictures that clearly depict what we are here for: SHARING !!

We all met in a room

LOTS OF SNOW....AND LEARNING

Today many of us saw snow for the very first time, amazing !!. But, oddly enough, the temperature was around 1 or 2 degrees C.
In the picture you can see the same Campus I showed you on Friday, but full of snow.
We had class time from 9:30 in the morning until 6pm. And from 6 to 7 we met our partner teachers (US teachers we'll be visiting in two weeks) for the first time .
