Uruguay...home sweet home

This is my last post... There must be a happy ending.
But first, some acknowledgements:

I want to thank the U.S. embassy in Uruguay, especially Veronica Perez Urioste who was always very patient and concerned about Martina and I before the beginning of the program.
I also wish to thank IREX and especially the staff that welcomed us in Washington D.C. and were in charge of the workshops and seminars we attended there.
And last, but not least, Thank you very much to all the professors at George Mason University, the teachers I met at Westfield High school and of course... My great TEA fellows, who I will remember for ever.

All of them made possible for me to learn a lot about myself, the way I teach and how I can help my colleagues at my high school in Pan de Azucar. From now on, I'm going to do my best to share what I learned with my Uruguayn colleagues!! 😃

And to show you how a happy ending looks like, the following are the first photos I took in Pan de Azucar...

Alexia and Agustin (my kids😁)

Life is not just about people...

Guess which will be the new sport practiced in Uruguay... My son happens to love baseball, haha. These baseball staff was the best thing I purchased in the U.S. (after the projector  of course 😏)

And today I started teaching in my high school again!!  The students are really nice, I talked to them about my experience... And sent these photos of them after accomplishing a task to the TEA fellows.
In the near future I will receive some pics from the fellows' classrooms as well and share them with my students....
And I foresee some interactions with my students and some of the fellows' of course...it's a must !!
😁😁
