All you need is...a moral purpose (and/or love?!?)

Today we had another lesson with Dr. Beverly Woody. We worked on the concept of  leadership, but focusing on what our moral purposes as leaders are, or will eventually be.
We all had deep conversations about the importance of relationships and how the people feel more committed when they are valued.
While thinking of concepts like "moral purpose" and"interpersonal relationships" I come to the conclusion that they shouldn't be part of a leader's assets only, but of every person in a socially committed society. How great our world would be if everyone had a moral purpose in his/her life and were able to care for others !!

After watching a video on teaching, all of us wrote a quotation or word we found inspiring.

After the class, we had lunch in a Chinese food restaurant located in the Campus. One of the pictures within the restaurant, describes the volunteer work this company does. Caring for others is of key importance when creating our own moral purposes and the photo above depicts such fact quite clearly !. :)

In the afternoon we had a class on Multiple Intelligence planning with Dr. Farnoosha Shahrokhi. We got to share our own learning intelligences with the group and discussed how these preferences can influence our roles as teachers and how we benefit some students over others sometimes.
And as a last activity we worked in groups in order to create 45" lesson plans bearing in mind a MI approach. As we shared our works we realized that it requires a bit of imagination only to create a MI class.
In the pictures below is part of the guidance Dr Farnoosha provided for us to create our lesson plans.
