The courage to teach

As time passes by we are getting accustomed to each other and the routine of taking the CUE bus at 8:20 in order to enter classes at 9:30 at Campus. These two last days have been particularly demanding, too, as I ended up going to bed at 1:30 due to some readings we had to have done before classes started.
But far from becoming boring, everyday we renew our passion, even through the readings we do. Everyday we are sharing something different and at the same time extraordinarily meaningful. As in today's morning lesson, for instance; we had a debate around the notion of being true to ourselves while teaching, based on the reading "the courage to teach" (Parker J. Palmer) we did yesterday night. Very honest exchanges happened among all of us (TEA fellows), which left some learning for everyone.

In the afternoon we had the Technology lesson. The professor gave us some ideas related to when to use the technology and how to make tasks meaningful for students. After that, we had to create the draft of a leaflet on a piece of paper in order to pass it into a digital version using the program "pictochart", which we will do next week.
